1. Cookies

Cookies need to be enabled on your browser for this site to function correctly. To learn more go to our cookies page.

2. Details not recognised

It is an unfortunate and rare happening, but sometimes a members postcode is incorrectly inputted into the main csma database. This will cause the following message to be displayed on a login attempt:

"inputted details failed to return any results from membership database"

If you suspect this is happening in your case, please contact our membership department on 0845 3457 444 or submit a call back request. This matter will be dealt with as soon as possible.

Your postcode must be entered in the correct format. Ensure that if your postcode contains O or 0 (zero), they are entered as such. For example SO15 0HX should not be entered as S015 OHX

3. Foreign and military addresses.

In the case of members with a military address of those members based abroad there may be some inconsistency as to what is recorded in the postcode row on the csma database. If you experience any problems logging in, please contact our membership department on 0845 3457 444 or submit a call back request. This matter will be dealt with as soon as possible.

4. Five Digit Membership Number

Some of the older csma membership numbers are only 5 digits long. If this is the case please insert a "0" at the beginning of your membership number when logging in. For example, if your membership number is 33247 please enter 033247 when logging in.

5. PC Security settings too high

If you notice a little red icon (like a stop sign) in the bottom right hand corner of your browser then your security settings are too high and the csma site is classed as a restricted site by your web browser. It is recommended that you read our cookies page for a solution.

6. Worried about changing Security settings

If you are concerned about lowering security settings and enabling cookies then you have another option. If you are confident a site can be trusted then you can make it a "trusted site". This means the site will function outside of the normal security levels set within your web browser. Want to know more..

7. More than one address?

Our system only validates your details against the primary address we have recorded on our database. If you experience problems logging in to the site, please ensure you try both postcodes.

8. Changed address recently?

If you have recently changed address and are experiencing problems, then we suggest you completely log out of the site and start again.
