Cotswold Motor Museum Cottages

Situated in one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds are csma's very own Motoring Museum Cottages, right in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water.
With the choice of fully equipped cottage-style, self-catering apartments, converted from the old mill building and one larger
cottage which sleeps up to five, the Museum Cottages offer csma members delightful accommodation with amazing views over
the River Windrush along with a host of other local attractions and things to do and see for all ages.
Adjoined to csma's very own Motoring Museum - full of exciting motoring memorabilia from the more romantic age of motoring, as well as being home to 'Brum' the little yellow car from the hit children's BBC TV series.
Choice of Accommodation
There are four Museum Cottages, of which three have double bedrooms and one with a twin bedroom.
These cottage-style apartments offer guests comfortable and modern accommodation. Made from local
Cotswold stone with rustic original exposed beams throughout, the cottage-style apartments
have fully equipped kitchens including oven, grill, microwave, toaster, fridge, pots, pans, cookery and cutlery.
Lounges have both a sofa and armchair with a television and video.
Larger groups can also enjoy the Museum Cottages by staying in the Stepping Stones Cottage.
This 3 bedroomed cottage made up of one double, one twin, one single and main bathroom,
sleeps up to 5 people. As well as the fully equipped kitchen it also has the extra luxury of a dishwasher.
The lounge/diner area has a 3-piece suite and there is a separate toilet downstairs. Stepping Stones Cottages is gas central heated.

Q. What time can we check in at the Museum Cottages?
A. You are invited to check in to both the Cottage Apartments and Stepping Stones Cottage from 3pm.
Q. What time do we need to check out on our departure date?
A. On your departure date, check out is at 10am.
Q.Do the Cottages have parking facilities?
A.Yes, there is 1 allocated space per apartment plus 2 spaces allocated for Stepping Stones cottage.
Q. What is included in the price of an apartment?
A. All bedding, electricity and heating is included in both the apartments and Stepping Stones cottage.
Q. Is there any accommodation suitable for the less-able?
A. All the apartments are split between 2 floors therefore guests would need to be able to climb
stairs to use all the facilities. Again, this applies also to Stepping Stones cottage.
Q. Are you allowed to take pets to the cottage?
A. Yes, pets are permitted at a small charge.
Q. My friend is a non csma member, can they come and stay with me?
A. Yes, as long as a csma member is staying in either the apartment
or Stepping Stones cottage, friends and family are most welcome.
Q. If I make a booking can I select a preferred apartment?
A. Yes, you can select a preferred apartment and providing it is available you will be able to book it.
Q. Are the cottages available all year round?
A. Yes, the cottages are available for long or short breaks all year round including Christmas and New Year.
Q. What will I need to take with me?
A. Towels and tea towels are not provided, otherwise the kitchen is fully furnished, along
with the bathroom, bedroom and lounge with TV and video.
Q. Where exactly are the cottages situated?
A. The cottages are situated right in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, overlooking River Windrush,
just off the High Street - the cottages and museum are clearly visible from the road.
